Abstract and Poster Program: Call for Proposals

Abstract and Poster Program: Call for Proposals

ICFAI 2025 invites submissions for the Student Abstract and Poster Program. This initiative aims to create a platform for students to share and discuss their early-stage research, connect with peers who have similar interests, and engage with senior members of the AI community. The program is open to students at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels. While contributions from non-student advisors and collaborators should be properly acknowledged, students are encouraged to submit work where they are the primary investigators, in keeping with the spirit of the program.

Connection to Collaborative Bridge Theme

As new opportunities emerge at the intersection of diverse disciplines, the “Collaborative Bridge” theme of ICFAI 2025 seeks to foster interdisciplinary innovation. Students, who often encounter a wide range of advanced methodologies through their academic training, are uniquely positioned to integrate these approaches into their research. By bridging multiple areas within AI, students can pave the way for collaborative partnerships and fresh insights. If your research aligns with this theme, you are encouraged to highlight in your abstract and poster how the integration of different methodologies has shaped your research goals and direction.

Submissions and Dates

Electronic submissions in PDF format are required. Students must submit an abstract outlining their research by November 2nd, 2025. The abstract must not exceed two pages, including references, and should follow ICFAI’s official two-column, camera-ready format. Submissions that do not adhere to the formatting or length guidelines may be rejected without review. All submissions must include the following information:
Additionally, students should submit a supplemental file (in PDF or ZIP format, not exceeding 20MB) that contains complementary material to aid the reviewers, given the brevity of the abstract.

Submission Limit

ICFAI 2025 enforces a strict submission policy: Each student may submit only one abstract as the primary author to the Student Abstract and Poster Program. No additional authors may be added after the submission deadline.

Submissions to ICFAI 2025 or Other Conferences

Students may submit abstracts based on work submitted to ICFAI 2025 or other conferences, provided the work has not already been published. Abstracts will be reviewed independently, and acceptance into the Student Abstract and Poster Program is not contingent on the acceptance or outcome of any full paper submissions. Students are encouraged to review the submission policies of other conferences regarding dual submissions. All accepted abstracts must be original and must comply with the ICFAI Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement.

Publication

Accepted abstracts will be allocated two pages in the conference proceedings. Students are required to transfer the copyright of their abstracts to ICFAI. A copy of the ICFAI copyright form is included in the Author Kit. When submitting the camera-ready version, authors must include the designation “Student Abstract” in the title, following the provided formatting instructions.

Poster Session

Authors of accepted abstracts will present their work in a poster session at the conference. Student authors are required to prepare a poster based on their abstract and be available to discuss their work during the allocated time at the event.

Three-Minute Presentation Contest

Selected authors will be invited to participate in a 3-Minute Presentation Contest, where they will present their research and its significance in three minutes, using only a single static slide (no transitions, animations, videos, or sound). A special prize committee will award the best presentation.

A complete list of student abstract keywords is available in the author kit.
